my father is insisting me to go to england, lancing college. but i don’t want to! what can i do?
i’ve got around 4 months left before finishing my AS Level in China and my father is insisting me to go to (England, Lancing college) after getting AS Level Certification. Yes, i do want to go abroad, but just not to England, any othercountries would be fine. But what can i do? Does anyone of you know anything about England or Lancing college? Defects would be fine.. I’ve argued so much with my father, but it just didn’t seem to work at all! the admission for the entrance is going to close within a month, so i have to change my father’s mind fast.. thanks for your attention.
Well, why don’t you want to go to England? And where would you like to go? You could try applying to other colleges in other countries, but these colleges will have to offer you more than Lancing College already does (better reputation, more scholarship money, better academics, etc). This way you could win your argument. In the end, you need to understand why it is that you don’t want to go to England and have an honest and sincere conversation with your father about your reasons. You may also realize that going to England is not as bad after all.
